Understanding Atherosclerosis
Atherosclerosis is a condition where the arteries become narrowed and hardened due to a buildup of plaque around the artery wall. This project aims to explore the impact of vessel health on atherosclerosis and develop innovative solutions for prevention and treatment.
This project focuses on the development of high-quality, accurate simulations illustrating the process of atherosclerosis. By using artificial intelligence, we aim to make the animation workflow faster — increasing visual precision and reducing production time. The integration of AI technologies enables the creation of detailed visuals that effectively communicate medical concepts to the audiences, including educators, students, and healthcare professionals. Ultimately, we want to seek to raise awareness and understanding of cardiovascular disease through cutting-edge visualization.
Iterative Process

An iterative process is used to communicate with AI to improve the quality of the animation and better match the content. The AI is sensitive to different inputs. Without specifying the fluid, the AI will assume the oil to be the blood flow. the origin and the direction of the flow is also not as expected. This is shown below.
After changing the input and specify the type of fluid. The fluid becomes red as expected. However, the origin of the blood flow is still not right.
After multiple attempts, the blood flow was able to match the expectation. Which is shown at the beginning
